The most easterly island in the Mediterranean is Cyprus. The rugged west coast of the island along the Akamas Peninsula offers many opportunities for good photography. Here I captured some of that outstanding natural beauty that makes this west coast so special. This is Geronisos Island during sunset.

Again, quite a dramatic capture in wide angle Stephen, the warm evening colours mix readily with the cool looking, boiling water in the FG. good effect indeed!

It seems that whenever you are posting photos I am gone. At least it gives me the opportunity to play catch-up and see many new photos at once. I love the way you played with the light in this photo. The lighter rock balances great with the wonderful colored sun. The movement is nicely controlled and still shows a lot of shape and texture.

Oh... I missed this. You posted it while I was away. It is really gorgeous... one of your best! The shutter speed was just fast enough to retain some detail in the moving water and still maintains a lovely softer quality. The light throughout the image... from clouds, to water, to foreground rocks is superb.
