Akamas Peninsula

A wild, undeveloped finger of land jutting into the Mediterranean, the Akamas is a true gem. It contains a network of nature trails and the Bath of Aphrodite. It is tentatively set-aside as a preservation area, but this status could be in danger.

It is currently a hot topic of debate with one side calling for National Park status and the other for development to bring more tourist money into the region.

Lovely shot .. excellent shot!! ... love the effect. Might have made an interesting shot if you did a timed shot as you would have gotten interesting patterns on the rock and from the waves.
TFS!

Hi Stephen,
Very nice capture. Great light and a good lead in of the eye using the coast line to the dramatic sky.

Very wild waters here Stephen, and I can just about see them moving. And the sky is so dramatic too. Awesome shot, and you show it so well composed. Excellent job, thank you

Beautiful shot! The crashing waves along with the darkened sky give a lovely feel of turbulence, and the composition of the picture gives it a kind of depth that evokes plenty of emotion that come along with the faraway feel. I love it!

Wow, what a dramatic scene here, Stephen.
Very powerful visual impact.
I like the dark menacing clouds and the huge sprays of the waves against the hard sharp rocks. All those elements exude a sense of danger and unsettledness.
TFS. : )
