Aldabra Giant Tortoise - Paphos Bird Park

I got his attention by clapping my hands and shooting "BIG TORTOISE" only to notice a couple of girls who were doubled in two with laughter at my antics ... He He, us photographers are a funny bunch, the things we do to get that shot ...

The Aldabra tortoise is second only to the Galapagos tortoise as the biggest land tortoise in the world. Aldabra tortoises can weigh more than 500 pounds, with a shell more than five feet long. Now that's big!
