fantastic portrait - the bg is wonderful, and the sharpness of the gazelle is excellent. You have handled the lighting really well, with the shadows being against you in this instance.

Hello Stephen,
Lovely shot! Very nice POV and great details. The framing looks good though I have feeling a little more space from below could have look better. I'm not sure though. The BG has great colours. Maybe it takes a little to much attention from the main subject, but still it looks great. I just think it should've been blurred a little more in PP because it seems to be kind of noisy. I don't know how to describe it.
Anyway, it's a lovely shot!
VERY WELL DONE!

Wow, Steven! Very different from your landscapes work, but also perfect! One of the best shots of gazelle. Lovely details and amazing BG with blurred flowers.

Hi Stephen!
Nice portrait of this gazelle. Well exposed and sharp. Tight cropping and composition looks good. I kind of amazed by somekind of texture in the BG !!! I have seen that before in others member photo before. To me it look like a side effect of Image Stabilization on distant out of focus subject. It is more obvious in the vertical white lines between the two horns. It looks like double sideways, not the same as outfocus object. Have you ever seen that in some of your others pictures? I am asking because I don't own an IS lens, but I'd like to know if it's a side effect of that technology.
Not considering my technical curiosity, it's an excellent portrait, TFS.
