It's always a pleasure to see a swallowtail, wherever you are. It's a nice close-up, showing well the patterns of its wings. The background is just a little bit noisy, but doesn't disturb the picture.

Another very beautiful macro shot from you!
Even if this lovely fellow has the tip of one of his "tails" torn, he still looks gorgeous and present some very gorgeous colors.
I also like the great DOF that you managed here - that keeps him in excellent focus and still blurrs the BG superbly.
Very good exposure and composition, too!

Hi Ulla,
As You can see, I found Your Papilio in the "machaon collection" linked in my note. :) Fantastic capture, really great close-up, wonderful colors and plenty of details. Brilliant image in the upper 4/5. In the lower: there's a line, under it the background's noisy, also with hot pixels. Seems like You forgot to use gaussian blur effect on this part by one reason or another (coffee was ready or You got a phone call maybe). Really strange, because it seems like the image's not completely done.
I give the 2 points, because this is the only mistake on the pic, the main "object" and the upper 4/5 part is fantastic, as mentioned. Tfs.
