Paphos - Cyprus

This is a follow-up on my last post where I described the hail storm we experienced on the north coast of the Akamas peninsula. The same evening the black clouds had reached the south and produced this dramatic sky. This was the only cloudy sunset we experienced during our week on Cyprus.

Beautiful!!!! The sky is amazing. A lovely sunset on the water. I love the compostion with the lone tree in the foreground.

What a moody and beautiful composition!
The view from here is very tranquill and paceful despite the rather dark clouds, perhaps because of that great inclusion of the palm-tree.
The exposure is nicely managed and the tones it resulted in are lovely.

Great capture this atmosphere.Beautiful and very interesting scene on sky,when the right-hand side looks very dramatically and left side is on the contrary peaceful.Very nice details on clouds and pretty colors with soft tones.Well composed,TFS.

The light and colors are wonderful in this shot. If it were possible I think the composition would have been stronger if you could have lowered your point of view so the palm tree were taller in proportion to the whole and it intersected more with the sky.
