[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This white headed Long-legged Buzzard Buteo rufinus was the first bird we stopped for when we drove from Bandar Abbas to Jask in Eastern Hormozgan, Iran. Many more raptors would follow.

Hi Paul,
this individual seems paler than the ones I've seen in Turkey. Other origin?
Nice blink in the eye. I would have left out (slight crop or cloned) the few twigs in the left side.

Hello Paul,
It seems that you find another spot to see and photograph raptors; I'm amazed how it seems easy to you. I like this picture for the pose of the bird, details exposure and this beautiful blue BG. If possible, I would have cropped it to get rid of these little twigs left by the main subject stands out very well with beautiful catch light.

It is some kind of strange that raptors pictures don’t get more attention here sometimes. Maybe is it due to the fact that people thinking they are photograph in captivity… It is a rare event when I see one and I’m always very impressed. Well seen and thanks!
