Hi Saeed

Photography can actually trick the visual senses and when we do not have a reference object to properly perceive perspective then things might look much smaller (or bigger) than what it really are. This is clearly the case with this posting since the rock (which you stated are 8m tall) does not appear so at all. Even when one look at the fallen tree, to the left of the rock, it also tends to look much smaller than what it apparently is. There is no real solution I can offer in this case since one obviously do not want to disturb the raw beauty and excellence of nature by artificially placing something in the scene just to be able to obtain some reference to perspective or scale.

The slightly darkish lower part of the photo and the foggy upper area gives this shot a lovely moody feel while the ray of light reflecting on the centre of the scenery caused the green algae and the red lichen on the rock to light up in dazzling fluorescent colours.

The two dark triangles on either side of the photo and the bright triangle at the top actually divides this shot into 1/3 areas that perfectly aligns with the rules of landscape photography. The excellent control of the timed exposure ensured remarkable lighting, and the DOF captured good details throughout the entire range.

this looks almost sureal, with the almost flourecent green on the rock. This could be a scene from "the Ring". POV, colors and composition are great.

A very interesting shot!
The contrast here between the green moss and pretty much everything else is amazing...did you enhance that anyhow during post processing?
Because is not, it seems unbelievly vivid...it made me think of the mythical stone in which Excalibur was stuck before Arthur pulled it out :) (what can i say...i have a wild imagination).
The composition here is very nice and the misty atmosphere is wonderful!

This looks really wonderful. The way the green moss illuminated the photo is really beautiful. You captured a really wonderful mood in this photo. It is a small pity that some of the shaded parts look a little noise, but I could be wrong since fog does create that effect as well. Besides that a perfect exposed photo, showing me a completely different sight of Iran.

This looks like Nova Scotia on a wet foggy day! Even the moss on the rock makes me think I am hiking to Cape Split... This is quite the lil pebble we have here! Great PoV with the shimmer on the wet rocks that draws us to the big light foggy vee. Tfs Jay

I've looked at this so many times and it's so hard to work out the scale. I love the colours and the composition, but at first I thought this was taken by yourself lying down in a gully.
I love the abstract nature of this because of that and the intense green really jumps out.
