Very beautiful first upload at wich it is a great joy to look at.
Sharpness, depth of field and lighting, wich is'nt easy with all those whites of the flower patels, are excellent.
Colors and details are most wonderful and the way the fly does stand out against the background is great.

very well done, this great portrait of the big Mediterranean wandering hoverfly, Volucella zonaria. I'm sure you noticed how slow the fly is, no hurry, not afraid of you---like a Hornet! Thank you for presenting it here. Keep on putting pics on TN!
