| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
- House Crow (Corvus splendens), also called Common Crow, is a very common breeding resident. This bird is found in all habitats of Haryana. As compared to the similar Large-billed Crow, it has a grey neck and smaller size. Sexes alike.
- The brood-parasite Asian Koel lays its eggs in the House Crow's nests. With the alarming decline of vulture population in Haryana, the House Crows have largely taken over their role as scavengers. But the increase in the Crow population is having an adverse affect on other bird species.

Salaam Ali,
lovely shot of this crow. The eye is shown and so black. It is quite unique as the crow is not totally black, it has splashes of white .
Well taken in a good posture.
Regards,
Foozi
Hi Mohamad,
The ID is incorrect. This is a Hooded Crow. Near Tehran the race is sharpii, so Corvus cornix sharpii.
Ciao Mohammad, lovely Crow in great pose, I never see a black and white crow, yhanks, interesting capture, very well done, ciao Silvio
Olá Mohamad
Bonita foto, uma ótima captura desse momento.
Gostei das cores B&P da plumagem do pássaro que combinou com o fundo da foto.;)

Mohammad,
Loved your notes; it just shows that we, humans, must NOT interfere with NATURE. When we do, we create an imbalance; and, similar actions will eventually KILL NOT ONLY US BUT MOTHER EARTH, the "ONLY" home we have.
Just got back from Israel. Saw a lot of these within the 8th. WONDER OF THE WORLD built by the Bahai-s in Haifa.
Warm regards from Canada from Mario.
