One of our most spectacular damselflies is Calopteryx aequabilis (Calyopterygidae) which have a beautiful metallic green abdomen and black wing tips.
So I found it sat on a stone in the river near to
Masouleh city.

Good shot of this species!
But the picture does not show the true beauty.

I so enjoy the limited color pallette here, Amir. The result is graphical and artistic and lovely.
