Dear visitors;
I found this insect between grasses, I don't know the real name of this insect and I'll be glad if you help me to know it.
Cheers,

Hi Amir
a very nice photo !
it's a desert jewel beetle (family Buprestidae) of the genus Julodis
Julodis species are widespread in shrub and desert vegetation from North to South Africa and throughout South-West and Central Asia, including Iran
all the best from Panama

Very interesting insect and very nice too.Great photo, excellent composition and colors.

Amir,
Well done here...
You could use a lower ISO...200 instead of 400 as you have 1/640 shutter speed. So 1/320 at 200 and less noise danger. Not that there's noise here.
Well done!!!

Great composition and sharpness of this interesting insect.
Good POV and colours.
Désolé, problèmes. Thomas
