Nice shot, am thinking you can improve this by adjusting brightness and contrast, but it isn't possible to restore the over exposed back of the bird. Have a look at the workshop.

This is a lovely picture, I love the pose of the bird, I also like the soft colors of the blurred BG. If I can gibve you my opinion, I would say you could have cropped the picture at the left side (at the back of the bird) I think it would make the picture look better. But then, it is just my opinion, the photo is very nice as it is. Very well done !
