dear friends
Iranians call it shaghayegh anyway i think it belongs to lily's family and it grows in spring-time in different parts of Iran. the most beautiful flower that i have ever seen.

Hi Mariam,
Lovely picture of a beautiful flower.
It looks like Ranunculus asiaticus (Ranunculaceae).
TFS,
Ishi
Hello Maryam,
Good point of view, and the delicate flower is captured with fine details!
The colours are well reproduced, the DoF is effective in making the flower stand out well on the background...
Greetings,

Hi Maryam,
Interesting to see the similarities in the local names; one of the Turkish names for Paeony is Şakayık which resembles shaghayegh...
By the way this flower may be a non-paeony species; Ranunculus asiaticus a good alternative. Nevertheless, both are coming from the same family Ranunculacae...
