They are called "delije" in Farsi. I notice that their population in urban and suburban areas is growing in the last years. That is interesting, as most other birds of prey are disappearing, and it shows clearly how some animals are able to adapt and profit from the destructive human behavior. Let's hope that no more animals need to do that!
About the photo: I was, and still am, quite unexperienced when I took this picture. The Aperture is too small... |
