Rooky Shadows

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Rook, Corvus frugilegus, kalaagh-e siaah (black crow)
A big swarm of them was flying above the Miankale peninsula in North Iran. There are the last remains of the wild Pome Grenade woods in Iran. A shrubby country, full of ponds. And a paradise for birds: From tiny Wrens to huge See Eagles and Flamingos you get to see almost anything. Well worth a visit for any birdwatcher. Just as well for those interested in mammals: Boars, jackals, marten, foxes, caspian seal, all lined up!
I hope I made you curious. If you want to pay a visit, just let me know!
