| We found this Indian Pond Heron Ardeola grayii in the harbour of Azini, at the coast of the Strait of Hormuz, Southern Iran. It was walking between rubbish. |

Hi Paul
A lovely shot of the bird, but it disturbs me to see all the rubbish in this little guys home. TFS.

Hi Paul
A very interesting and rather rare sight here on TN.
The is a very beautiful picture despite the garbage on the ground, because teh pose you managed to capture this indian pond heron in a very cute pose.
The details on it a re terrific and the natural colors look great.
Also the low POV is exceptional and the DOF is excellent - blurring out the BG very nicely.
Bravo and TFS

Hi Paul, This is a very intersting and amazing picture - and taken in Iran. What a lovely bird, I have never seen one before. Although the exposure could have been a step of two up, your capture is very good. Light and tone in the bird;s feathers are very good and the dtail in the feathers that the bird is preening are excellent. Compositon, to my mind, is excellent in that a beautiful bird is captured in such surroundings. I love it. Debz
