Date Palm
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The fruit of the date palms all over Baghdad is in full ripening stage right now.
I had my driver make a special stop for me so that I could get out on a street that runs parallel the Tigris river to get this. I was inspired by another special TN member, who taught me to look up...
Note: I am adding that in Baghdad, it is VERY difficult to find a nice tree that is not draped with telephone or electrical wires. In fact, it took a long time driving around trying to find a tree whoes image wasn't in someway disrupted by wires or buildings. I should also note that we were approached in the car by a fellow who was very concerned about me taking pictures in front of his house. He backed off when he saw the weapons in our laps. Just as a reminder, nature is not always pretty or easy to capture and in Iraq, it can even be dangerous... |

Nice perspective, it's a bit dark in front though and the leaves from other palm trees are visible. I've done a workshop, hope you like it.
Points tomorrow.
