Lupinus angustifolius
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Lupinus angustifolius, the Narrow-Leaf Lupine is quite rare in Israel. It has narrow leaf lobes, thus the species names. It, too, (see L. palaestinus posted yesterday) grows mainly in lighter soils, such as the reddish “Hamra” in the background of this picture. The flower-head is much smaller that that of L. palaestinus. |

A beautiful close-up of this fine lupine species Ishi, I'm sure I have seen it in the field somewhere, those narrow leaves had taken my attention. TFS my friend.
