[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Not one so much for its quality but rather as a symbol of my determination to capture an image of this rather evasive (from my experience) bird.

There are quite a few of these Jays down in the spot of woods by my house and you can hear quite often their very distinctive "shreak!!!".

Anyway, they always seem to escape my advances by getting up amongst the branches of a nearby pine tree. This time though I was determined and it seems he was more surprised at my luck than I was.

This doesn't mean I've given up on getting a more distinct image of this bird and its beautiful shades of blue.
