The lupines are in bloom too these days. This is our most common lupine, out of five, growing mostly in lighter soils. The entire flower grows to about 30 cm tall, usually in great numbers per location. The yellow contrast in the background comes from Oxalis pes-caprae, a very common xenophyte in Israel.

Hi Ishi,

Nice photo of the plant with very good cromatic. I like the contrast between lupines flower and the yellow background. In my country this plan is cultivated in gardens but I did not see it in the wild.
