African migrant

The African migrant (Catopsilia florella) is an African butterfly that distribute from West Africa to India, China and Australia.
In Israel it can be found in Eilat (Southern Israel) during all year. It is a quick and fast flier that migrants to the north every summer and it can be found in late summer and fall in other sites of Israel.
The male (in the picture) is white. The female could be in two forms: white (as the male) or yellowish to yellow.

Hello Oz,

Excellent capture of this beautiful butterfly. Excellent composition. Great sharpness. You could capture very well the texture and the colour patterns of wings. Excellent exposure and natural colours.

That is a really sharp shot, Oz.
Great profile presentation showing the vein patterns in the wings.
Beautiful light and colors. I can see the subtle differentiation of the greens and yellows. The composition is very pleasing.
