Locust

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Last November very large swarms of locusts invaded Israel from the south.
They came from northern Africa and settled in the southern part of Israel - covering the city of Eilat and into the Negev and causing damage to every growing crop.
The Ministry of Agriculture successfuly defeated the locusts in a fierce battle:)
Some of the locusts flew as far as northern Israel.
The difference between a locust and a grasshopper is that locusts have the ability to swarm.
This picture was taken in the northern part of Israel, and even though this was the only one i saw I'm conviced that it is a locust.

Nice composition Ido, the locust looks good, It's a shame that there is a small bit of leaf in front of his face. I also think that there is a blue cast, I have done a WS - I hope you like it. Well done.
Ido, Good details & exposure on the hopper. Good diagonal composition also. It's unfortunate the head is obscured by the leaf. Maybe next time you could include the F-stop & shutter-speed when you upload? TFS!
He looks like a soldier ;-) Great photo with interesting note! Good job!
The leaf/twig is a bit distracting. But the res of the photo is fine. Well seen and taken.
