[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Crupina crupinastrum
(Asteraceae) is a delicate composite annual. The flowers are carried on up to 50 cm long stems, moving in the faintest wind. The composite flower is made of a small number, 10-15 of tubular flowers 10 to 15 mm long. They are surrounded by longer bracts that give the flower its typical appearance. These flowers adorn meadows and open areas of the maquis towards the end of spring.
