[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is a side-view of a pair of Ophrys bornmuelleri flowers on a plant that carried about 15 flowers. Such side views always evoke images of birds with their wings wide spread. Please have a look at a different view of the flower in my gallery.

The picture was taken in natural light (somewhat overcast sky) with my hand held Nikon D80. The flowers are about 25 mm in their longest (diagonal) dimension.

A beautiful couple of Ophrys flowers mimicking miniature ducks Ishi, they stand out perfectly against the dark BG. What can be the ecological impact of this similarity to water fowl on pollinating bees, I wonder...
