| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I continue showing a number of Allium species.
This Allium is quite unusual in its bloom: the buds grow straight up, then bend down when the flowers open, and when the fruit develops they are erect again. The synonym of the species name, “stamineum”, refers to the stamen emerging out of the corolla (about 5 mm in diameter), as seen in the picture. This is a quite common species that blooms when other wither, as you see in the background of the picture.
The picture also shows the dry bract that originally covered the entire inflorescence. |

Hello Ishi, not an easy plant to capture, very delicate and soft colours, the information supplied enhances this plant. This is a clean, sharp image, well captured. TFS regards h

Good photo ot his alium. It is excelent the way you have been able to render sharp clear this inflorescence. Very good clear details all over. Nice way of using the light having nice natural colors in the photo.
