[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Pancratium maritimum ("Sea Daffodil"; Amaryllidaceae) is one of the early bloomers of the new flowering season starting now in the last days of summer. These showy flowers grow by the Mediterranean Sea, as shown here in the light of the setting sun. The flowers open in the late afternoon to be pollinated by night-flying moths. The new green leaves will appear next spring.

A bit too dark in front but with nice light in the flowers.
