| Following my last posting of the Sea Squill (Urginea maritima; www.treknature.com/gallery/photo216809.htm), here is a close-up, taken in brighter sunlight, of a specimen visited by a German Wasp (Vespula germanica). Each flower is about 10 mm in diameter. |

Hello neighbour of the day Ishi,
good pov on this flower and the wasp.
Good details and fine colours.
Gert
Very nice, but as usual, why so dark ??? Ori
Hi Ishi,
Beautiful macro capture of the German wasp 'in action'! The flowers are indeed increase the beauty of the picture drastically.
Very well seen shot with great sharpness and from a well chosen POV. The shallow DOF works great here. The colors are very natural. I like the contrast between the white flowers and the yellow colored wasp.
Wonderful work!
best regards,
Paras Bhalla

Bonjour Ishi,
Amicalement,
Hervé
