Colchicum brachyphyllum_01

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Another early bloomer is the rather rare Short-Leaved Meadow Crocus, Colchicum brachyphyllum. Note the typical short leaves appearing along with the flowers, and the sharp-tipped petals with their violet tinge. The petal length is about 18 mm. |

Hi Ishi. Your use of the light in this picture of this beautiful Crocus has given rich colours. Taken with fine detail and sharp focusing. Well taken TFS.

Dear Ishi
I like your simple, yet so pleasant picture very much. It shows the flower's characteristics in a beautiful manner. It would be interesting to know how it comes that you have taken this early bloomer in october. Is this normal for your region?
Many thanks and kind regards
Markus
