Crocus hermoneus, Mt. Hermon Crocus is characterized by its very large stigmas, seen here clearly.
This is another one of our early bloomers. Like all our crocuses it blooms in the fall, the beginning of our rainy season and flowering season. The diameter of this specimen was 35 mm. |
