[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little owl is the mail, while the female is sittimg on the eggs in the their nest that is found in the left hole in this picture, the mail is searching for food to bring to the hungry lady and keep her full.
While waiting nearby you can hear the female calling from the nest.
In this picture you can see the little owl with the tasty meal in his claws, a poor little field mouse.

Hi Elroyie,
Excellent capture and quality. I like the whole scene, showing the nesting holes very well also..I wonder, do they make these nesting holes, or do they take them over from some other mammal?? In your previous note, it says they clean & hollow scrape..from scratch then? ;}

From one david to another.....this is a great image.Just amazing how you managed to catch him with his prey.You have good focus and have managed to get such good detail.The additional burrow on the right adds to the composition.Well done.
