Interesting shot with this little owl holding up his wings. It's like he's trying to appear larger. Nice detail and colours. The owls feathers are similar to the colour of the rocks he's standing on, blending in well to his surroundings. TFS Janice

Welcome back stranger...it's been more than a 1½ months since the last posting.

Oooooh, what a lovely shot! It is a magnificent capture of this youngster trying out those wings in preparation of the wonderful day when it will take to the sky for the first time.
I just love this beautiful composition, the colours are splendid, the details are tack sharp, the BG (as always with your photos) are superb, and the exposure was perfect especially considering the fact that there was no direct light on the bird.
