[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After few tryings to catch this owl in flight, not a succesful ones, at last I've got a descent in-flight picture.
The light was very difficult and you can see this on my picture data, but with a combination of luck and instinct I did it...
This is the male on his tour to get foud for the nesting female, once a while he is flying away and (hopefuly) was coming with a pray, you can see that on my former post Poor little fellow...

I love the POV and the action.
Having this owl flight straight at you out of the nest hole is quite an opportunity. It sounds like you worked hard to get it. Congratulations and TFS. : )

Spectacular image, has a great effect in the blurred wings, you´ve captured very well the action, flying from its hole nest.
A species very similar to one from the Americas, Athene cunicularia.
