Fantastic picture you have captured of this wonderful bird of prey - of course a little more blue in the sky would be nice, but you cannot always get it as you wish:-0).

Excellent handling of the shutterspeed here as the 1/500 sec. was fast enough to freeze the bird and still leave some motion in the wings. Sharpness and focus is spot on with plenty of details in the plumage. The colours look very good and natural. The composition is perfect. All over a very nice and pleasant picture to look at.

Hello Elroyie,

Wonderful in-flight shot of this magnificent kestrel! I love you POV a lot! It makes me think I was up there, hovering beside the bird. The composition look OK to me, maybe I would have tried to frame it vertically just to give the bird more space below and to check how it looks. I'm not sure it would look better. The clear, blue sky makes a perfect background and takes care nothing distracts from the subject. The wing tips are slightly blurred, just enough to convey the ideea of movement! The colors are well saturated and natural!
You also did a great job on exposure and camera work! No overexposed or underexposed areas can be noticed on this well focused kestrel! I appreciate the catchlights in the bird's eye even from this distance and the area around the eye is also very well illuminated. Excellent job! Thank you!
