Hi Ori,

What a spectaculr plant in your interesting photo. First I thought it is a member of Aracea family but I see it is not. The plant is copletly strange for me. You have chousen a good way to show the whole plant in it's habitat. You did a good use of light in order to show the, difficult to photograph, inside of the flower.

Congratulations,
Cristian

Wow!!! I find Arums to be fascinating, and that is one of the most spectacular species I've ever seen in a photo, absolutely amazing, and a wonderful image!

Thanks,
John

Interesting species. I don't believe it has a similar counterpart in the Sonora desert of southern Arizona that grows in such dry looking conditions.

Is this species particularly odoriferous?

Hello Ori,
This is a strange yet beautiful plant. When I scuba dive on the west coast there is an animal called a sea pen that is very similar in form. Thank you Ori.
Rick
PS Sorry I was so long in returning to comment.

Good composition, descriptive picture, everything is good in this very nice picture of black araceae.
