[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This one is from my recent visit to "Ein Akev" (Akev Spring) in the Negev desert.There were quite a few of these small but deadly "stingers" around the minute overflow from the spring pool.I laid down to get an angle at this one rather worried that one might land on my bare back.

If you want to imagine what a true oasis looks like then Ein Akev is a prime example.After a hot and tiring 2 hour trek through the desert you come across this natural wonder - abundant greenery, welcome shade and a cool pool of water for a refreshing swim.
