This second picture of the Northern Orange-tufted Sunbird (Cinnyris oseus)shows it in the typical stance it uses to feed - rather than hovering like a true humming bird (though it can) it perches on the stem of the flower from which it is feeding.

actually a nice capture of the pretty sunbird, the details are good as well as the composition, it just seems to be a bit
dark though. i hope to see one of those on my next trip to israel too. best wishes & take care, thor.
