This picture is very close to full frame picture.
It was very dark, even darker than my former picture of the Barn Owl, my truck lights were the only light in the area, I approached as near as I could and took this picture, the Barn Owl seems very relaxed, my presence didn't distirbe it.
This is one of the portraits that I took, I hope you will like it.

Very nice full-frame capture Elroyie. Excellent sharpness, detail, POV and light. Of course, the black BG really isolates your subject here. Nice catchlight seen also. Excellent portrait.
