Hi Elroyie,
You've caught a fantastic effect with the long exposure my friend. The drop over the edge of the rocks looks so much higher than it really is.The exposure is perfect throughout and the detail is crystal clear.....got to be a favorite.

I love this shot very much! Awesome! The colours, the reflection of the sunset on the wet rocks, the misty effect of the water and the moving clouds all add to a wonderful landscape shot which fills me with inspiration. TFS!

You've created a beautiful composition with that long exposure time Elroyie, thanks to the darkish ND filter, which also produced a nice "zooming" effect with the clouds and a silky look for the moving water. The tremendous depth and exaggerated perspective of the wide angle lens also helped to produce a dreamy image. Good work indeed!

You've done very well here Elroyie.
Very dramatic wide angle view, the extra long exposure has turned the sky into the form of an aurora, and altered the shorelines form in an appealing and creative way..
Looks like a "dreamscape" to me :)
Hope you're doing well my friend,
Howard

Dear Elroyie,
You hope we will like it ......I adore this mesmerising capture of the cloud and the vanishing light of the sun. This creates a magical concotion ...the PoV you have used here is amazing and yes i can see those clouds drifting..the motion is great ...i wonder where were you standing .....but i can easily see the scene just as you saw it...the colours up there and below so distinct..and a brief but very helpful technical notes to go with it...thanks you very much for sharing this...this goes to my favourites...
Cheers

This is incredible!!!
266 second exposure! That's massive!
It's created an awesome effect turning the sea to mist and the sky to a vortex :-)
The sky really draws the eye in and the wonderful colours catch the eye.
Pin-sharp with exceptional clarity.
Very good composition.
Excellent work!

Hi Elroyie
I am not at all surprised that this is one of your favorite landscape shots...this is truly FANTASTIC!
The idea to go for a bulb shutter here was really great and it produced a picture full of impact and dynamism. You are indeed an expert of VERY long exposures and here is a proof why.
I love the silky, uniform look of the water and rocks from the FG, but it's the sky that is absolutely gorgeous!
Very well exposed, superbly composed, and well saturated, too!
Thank you also for posting the exact amount of your exposure...it's really useful for us who are trying to learn more from your wonderful work!
BRAVO and TFS
