Shalom Ori,
I like your flowers and you show a great collection of flora mainly Israel and South Africa. This is also great with great details, sharpness, POV and lighting. Nicely composed.
TFS, well done
Ahmet

Hi Ori,
Beautiful flower. Nice picture. TFS.
Did you use the flash here?

Bonjour Ori,
Très belle et délicate espèce. Sous la pluie ou la rosée?
Amicalement
Hervé

Excellent presentation of this species. Nice to see it is already in bloom! Good note, too.

It would have helped to state the average size of the flower (about 30 mm in diameter).

Cheers!

Ishi

Well Ori, you are really very succesful at extreme close-ups, the unusual looking flowers of this species are really detailed, I think I can discern some fluid nectar within some of those nectar reservoirs. Terrific!
Mehmet

Shalom Ori,
What a nice endemic flower. I think its nectar should be sweet. TFS friend,Greetings,

Amazing shot and a beautiful presentation of this lovely cousin of Colchicum!

Hi Ori
Nice & delicate flower but excellent close-up
Well done
Albert

Well captured and presented to show the viewer the fine detail in the blooms. It is especially nice how you've included plant and some of its environment with the flowers.

I am a big fan of desert wildflowers of the American Southwest and have a large collection of photographs of them.

After I get to a point with my "Cactus Flower" theme that I think it has a good start I will start a Sonoran desert wildflower theme. You might like those to.

But I'm no biologist. I take pictures mostly for my own enjoyment so most of mine are not particularly good for documenting plants. :(
