Hi Alex,
nice grasshoper! The details can be seen very well, and the focus is OK. Maybe you should take some care with the shadows. The one at the up right corner takes out the quality of the picture.

Hi Alex,
Very good macro of this insect!
I like the sharpness of the image and the focus on the subject.
The texture and details on the insect are a great ones.
The only nit would be the shadow over.
Hope to get used pretty soon to your D80.

Hi Alex,
Congrats on your new purchase of the D80!The sharpness and detail of the hopper is very good as are the shades and tones of colour.I do agree with brenda that the shadow at top right is a bit distracting.Have fun with the new toy!!

nice first one, alex! :-)
the focus on the head is good, but gets a little soft on the body - maybe try a higher
f-value (8, 11, 16) for a greater DOF.
a flash can help, too. next stop: macro-lens. *g*
