I love your blue damselfly so much, a wonderful insect and you captured it very well.
It's not a dragonfly, it's a Calopteryx splendens male / Banded Demoiselle male.

Hello David,
Beautiful shot of the Blue-banded Damsel. Great sharpness and lovely colour. Pity about the top of the wings having a black background where they get rather lost. Otherwise it is a lovely composition.

Beautiful environment captured very well.
Its posture is always quite an interesting sight to watch isn't it?
The colours that they 're seen seem to vary in Asia and Europe.
