The Pomegranate Hairstreak (Deudorix livia) is an Afro-Tropical butterfly that distribute in the north Equator of Africa and Saudi Arabia. In the summer it migrant north to Israel, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. In the hot parts of Israel and Jordan (from Eilat/Aqaba to the Dead Sea) it can be found during all yaer.

Wing span: 35-40 m"m.
Host plants: pomegranate (Punica granatum), Date Palm (Phoenix dactylifera) and other plants.
