Hooded Crow with Pecan

Thanks to Steve Pryor for correctly identifying this bird, which I had heard referred to as a raven despite the different plumage.
This is a full size view of the hooded crow in my previous collage, showing the nut it picked up. |

Superbe, couleurs magnifique et majestueuse représentation de la nature.
Bravo

Well the change also make it a nice capture. I had wondered about the bird named myself. Although a tad soft, it still is a possible first named for its species...if not then I stand corrected as well..Good show!

Great details and excellent timing here!
Superb posting on this creature. I'd have thought it to be a raven too :D

Hi Alan,
Not a Raven. This is Hooded Crow. Corvus cornix.
