[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I popped down into the woods for half an hour before lunch yesterday and noticed these daisies shining brightly in the sunlight.

Technique -
Concentrated the exposure on the foreground bright flower and under exposed by 1.7 stops. This gave the black background and showed just the flowers.

Hi David,

I love daisies and haven't seen any since I moved to Arizona. If you have them in Israel, I don't understand why we don't. I like your technique on this very nice. The subject is nice and sharp - even an insect on it. The two blurred ones and the background all add up to a lovely picture.

Shalom David;
Nicely done...looks almost as though it could be an advert of some sort of a catalogue. High quality graphics from your Nikon. I use a similar lens but the Sigma variety. Yours did a fine job in colours here with gradients and such. Nice to have the insect added touch as well..very good sir...

Hi David.
Very interesting subject. I like contrast between perfectly illuminated and extremely well sharpened image of flower and insect and dark BG with well blurred flowers. The flower and fly are reproduced greatly. Amazing light, sharpness and details. They look like 3D-image. Shot is composed so attractively. Composition is very good too. My compliments and TFS.
Alexei.

Hello David, really nice picture of those flowers. I like the light shining at the foreground, your technique is very interesting. It's nice to have the flowers against the black background, the contrast is superb. Thank you!
