I dont ahve any information on this Dragonfly and I would like to have some.

I took this picture near my house, and when I went looking for butterflies I'v found this beauty.

Camera was hend held.

Technique:
WB: Sunny
EV: -0.3

I used PS and NI to "upgrade" the photo a little bit.

Very sharp macro, Ido. I like the way the dragonfly is standing, with its tail sticking up. Very sharp details and great exposure and composition. TFS. : )

Excellent capture.
The pose is great,they do this to cool down on hot sunny days.
We dont get to see this pose in the UK much :-(
Colours ,composition and DOF are excellent.

Nice picture Ido, this is a great pose. They do this when they are too hot - they present their abdomen to the sun to minimise the surface area exposed. Lovely details and composition, very well done.

Nice and sharp capture of this chap in the "obelisque" position - as Andy and Paul stated, they do this to keep cool ;-)
Good colours and DOF. I'll second the suggestion to crop out some on the right. I'd also have liked to see the background more out of focus to set off the critter to more advantage, but with the small point-and-shoot cameras this is not always possible.
