[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here’s another late-blooming Allium, named after our beloved Mt. Carmel, where my hometown of Haifa is located, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. In fact, this specimen was photographed in my neighborhood where some plots of natural vegetation can still be found.

Allium carmeli can be found in many areas in Israel, but on Mt. Carmel it is usually whitish, while in other areas it is pink. It can reach up to 1 m in height. The flowers are rather small, with petals less than 10 mm long.

Beautiful flower, sharp and well exposed. Thanks for sharing.
That out-of-focus half-cropped flower in the right is a bit distracting. Perhaps it would have been better to include the full flower in the frame to give an overall feeling of depth.
