[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another Allium! This one, A. libani, was recorded two days ago on Mt. Hermon at an elevation of about 1900 m above sea level. Due to he harsh weather conditions at those elevations, strong winds and low temperatures in winter, this Allium blooms almost at the ground level, typically between two thick leaves, after the snow has melted. As with most other allium species, the flowers are rather small, and tightly packed in a globular inflorescence, with a diameter of up to 5 cm.

Another Allium but another great work in sharpenss and details,my best compliments and thanks for share,Luciano

Bonjour Ishi
J'aime beaucoup cet ail, qui me rappelle beaucoup Allium chamaemoly, espèce de l'ouest du bassin méditerranéen, qui fleurit lui aussi au niveau du sol. Ces convergences de forme sont fascinantes.
Amicalement
Hervé
