Looks more like baking in teh sun:-) With all of that amoure I wonder...why do reptiles like the sun? Now I must go and learn. Very sharp image with an other worldly appearance..

Hello David,
This resembles my husband when the sun is out.
Big stretch, head up and remain perfectly still!
The focus and details on the lizard are strikingly good! He shows up well against the blurred b/g.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Many thanks for your feedback on 'Where's Mum?'

Hi David,
What a marvelous pose as he raises his head and tail. Excellent shot of this lizard on the rock. Very sharp details of the head and the nicely colored and patterned skin. I love the eye!

Hi David
I wish I knew what this is to be able to help you, but I'm out of my depth. Probably some kind of agama or dragon family. I searched quite a bit on the web for it, but it is always difficult when you're in the dark with flat torch batteries.
Anyway, this one is as sharp as can be from a good DOF range and giving you a lovely pose while basking in the sun. The BG is well OOF and isolated and the exposure was perfectly balanced showing excellent contrasts on the dark reptile.
Well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hi David,
What a perfect example of a basking agamid happily absorbing the warmth of the sun, finely captured in sharp focus and good exposure, against a pleasantly OOF darkish BG. A beautiful composition indeed! TFS this lovely scene.

Hallo David
I must admit, I do not like to comment on reptiles because I know to little about the subject. In the same breath I must add that looking at this image, this little rascal's grabbed my attention. I do not why I have this feeling but this looks like a “naughty boy” in the reptile world.
Its body has a lovely display of patterns and markings, and the long tail is really something special. A lovely capture of this cute little fellow. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards.
Anna

Hello David,
Dont i adore this smart looking subject of yours, who seem to be really looking for a good tan ....these creatures always look impressive the way they raise their heads and stand up in the sun...nice muted Bg offsetting the subject, superb details and sharpness.
Well done,indeed.
TSF & Cheers
