Little Tiger Blue - Tarucus balkanicus

Sorry, but I didn't find sources about the beautiful and small butterfly.
The best explanation about this butterfly is here in TN and it was writen by Oz Ben Yehuda, a memeber in TN.

Technical details:
As you see the shutter speed was slow, I used tripod and release cable to prevent any movement that can caused by pressing the shutter release.
In this picture I also used the fact that the insects are having warm blood, and on the early ours they are 'sleeping'...

There is no crop here, it is the full-frame.

Hi Elroyie. this is one i have never seen before even on the screen . You have captured a fine close up with good detail sharp focusing. with natural colours. against a nice plain Bg. well done TFS.

The backlighting is terrific and the closeup of this butterfly is magnificent. This photo is sharp and what I love most is the simple composition.

Fina foto de hermosos colores y gran nitidez en la imagen. la pose es perfecta para la toma y el fondo luce bellamente tambien. La mariposa como objetivo principal resalta en esta foto.

Outstanding shot of this tiny but beautiful butterfly with such lovely colours and details on its wings. Superb lighting and exposure. It stands out elegantly from the almost monotone BG and is so pleasing to the eyes. Excellent DOF, POV and composition. Kudos.
